All month long the lovely folks at the website Criminal Element are giving back to their crime and mystery enthusiasts with something they’ve deemed Undead April! This is our 2nd contribution (you can see the 1st here).
Andy Hunter presents his Western Zombie mash-up with Raylan Givens from the show Justified and Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead chumming it up at a saloon right before they are rudely interrupted by some undead!
The best part is you can win a print of this bad boy just by going to the blog post on their site, and leaving a comment! A winner will be selected at random, but only registered users of Criminal Element will be considered.
So what are you waiting for? Go comment!!
Be on the look out for our 3rd and last undead mash-up from long time zombie lover Adam Carlson!

“I’m Commander Bates, and this is my favorite drawing on the site”
Commander Bates
I did this a while back, but since we are doing a Lost mash-up this time, I thought I could resurrect it again!
Year One or One Year Old?
Draw2d2 – Year One, an explanation:
You may have noticed under our “next mash-up banner” at the top of the page, it reads “Special Topic: Year One.” If you’re saying to yourself, “Wait! That sure doesn’t sound like a mash-up!,” then you wouldn’t be wrong. It is not!
Since we will soon be ushering in the New Year, we thought this topic was a more fitting way for our artists to let their geek chops show, and really… get nuts!
Welcome to the first ever Geek Week Round-Up!
The first of our new bi-weekly postings.
Our goal is to keep you all up to date with everything happening here on Draw2D2. You can look for these posts every other Thursday between mash-ups!
You can see all of our end of civilization Spidey heroics from our last mash up here! more below the cut!
We are pleased to present an interview that ran in the December issue of .Net magazine. It was a lot of fun, and its always nice to see your work in print. You can check out their site here: http://www.netmagazine.com/
Thanks .Net magazine!
Last Saturday, Nov. 19th, was the opening of the 11ONE9 show held at the Philosophy gallery in Paducah Kentucky.
Featuring a collection of works by 4 artists. John Romang, Thom Whalen, Shane Harris, and myself (Adam Carlson). It was an eclectic mix of Fine Art Ceramics, Abstract installation, and expressive oil painting.
The folks at Draw2D2 don’t stop being geeky once we leave our drawing desks, oh no! We bleed red, white, and acidic alien blood out in the real world as well. This being Halloween and all, we thought you might enjoy seeing some of our everyday outfits we wear for I don’t know, picking up dry cleaning and deep sea fishing, everyday stuff like that. So feast your eyes on our geeky garments!
Super T.I.M.E Force – First Peek from Capy! on Vimeo.
Had to share this neat looking preview to the upcoming adventure game Super T.I.M.E. Force, from Canada based indie game studio Capy Games. The design and style of this looks so fun and enjoyable. Head over to their site and check out their other projects. (Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery is gorgeous, as well)
